March Staff Spotlight: Megan Nielsen

We enjoy getting to know everyone who walks through our doors, so we thought you may like to know a little bit more about those behind the counter here at the Bakehouse! Each month we'll feature a member of our team, share a little bit about them, and how they made their way to the Bakehouse. Without further ado, please meet this month's featured team member, Franklin Bakehouse’s amazing Operations Manager, Megan Nielsen!

Can you share a little bit about yourself:

I’m the Ops manager at the Bakehouse. I grew up here in Franklin and was homeschooled all of the way through high school. Then I studied Psychology at Lee University and moved back here after I graduated to get started on my journey as a working professional.

Why did you want to join the Bakehouse team?

I was looking for a supportive work environment and when I met Angie she was so passionate about food, people, and supporting women in business that I knew I had to be a part of it!

What do you like most about working at Franklin Bakehouse?

Hands down the people! I am blessed to work with such a positive, genuine, and hardworking group of people who truly care about working as a team.

One word that you would use to describe your team:

Quirky!

Your favorite Bakehouse item/meal? 

The Cinnamon Bun or the Italian on Foccacia Sandwich!

What do you like to do outside of work? 

Act! I also enjoy galavanting with friends, writing, and watching copious amounts of movies.

What is something people don’t know about you that you would like them to know?: 

My biggest dream is for Harry Styles to walk into the Bakehouse
